To guarantee its pureness, the water has to be filled at the spring site where it is offered in shops and restaurants. It is the only Geman food that needs to be officially approved of.

_SPRING WATER must stem from subterranean water resources and must be bottled directly from the spring only. The quality of spring water has to have at least the quality of drinking water.

_CURATIVE WATER contains an extremely high amount of minerals and its healing effects have to be officially certified. It is no longer regarded as mere beverage, but is sold in pharmacies.
