_Only 2,6 % of the water resources on our blue planet is freshwater, and only a tiny bit of it is high-quality mineral water. The remaining 97,4 % is salty seawater and for man unfit for consumption.
_Before being filled, natural mineral water has travelled a long way. Precipitation, i.e. water that falls to the earth in the form of rain, snow or hail, is mineral water in its most pristine form. It trickles into the soil, sometimes as deep as several hundred metres.
In the course of centuries the water seeps through several layers of rock that give to the later mineral water its special taste. On its way the water filters and absorbs important minerals like magnesium, sodium or calcium - according to the type of rock in different concentrations and compositions.
